Size Charts

The is responsible for the size they choose to order. Formals Etc cannot assume responsibility for the size ordered or for measurements taken outside of our bridal shops. Therefore, we cannot suggest a specific size.

Once you have taken your measurements, see the designers size chart below. These size charts are directly from the designer and show how they cut their sizes. Keep in mind that designers do cut differently from normal street clothes so you measure into a size that you don' t normally wear. The measurements are taken to determine the closet size to be ordered. This garment WILL NOT BE custom made to you exact measurements. Almost every gown will require some type of alterations.

If your measuements indicate one size for the bust and a different size for the waist and or hips, the designer suggests ordering according to the largest measurement. This allows for this measurements to be accommodated for in the fit of the gown. Gowns can be taken in but due to the modest seam allowance in each garment. However, there may not be enough fabric to let out a garment to the size needed.
